The Miller Foundation is Accepting Grant Applications in the Arts
The Earl B. and Loraine H. Miller Foundation is open for grant applications in its Arts Program Area through February 28, 2017.
The Foundation’s focus in the arts is on organizations or programs that partner with schools and school districts to provide arts education programs directly in the classroom on a regular and consistent basis. We are interested in the visual, performing (e.g., music, theater, dance), and literary arts.
For the past 50 years, the Miller Foundation has been guided by the mission: “To provide support for organizations serving the Long Beach community with emphasis on the health and well-being of children in need.” The Miller Foundation’s grantmaking is focused on achieving meaningful impact towards our mission and honoring the legacy of Earl and Loraine Miller. We support high-impact organizations in greater Long Beach within our three program areas: Health, Education and the Arts.
The Arts Program Area is open for application. Applications for Health and Education Program Areas are accepted by invitation only this year.
All organizations who wish to apply must submit a hard copy of the grant application via mail to our office. We encourage you to review our grants program guidelines to see if you are aligned with our program focus and eligibility criteria.
The deadline for all application submissions is February 28, 2017 (applications must be postmarked by this date).
