Because of my experience with the Nonprofit Partnership, I have been able to find consultants with expertise in areas critical to move my organization to the next level. I am totally comfortable with anyone referred by the Partnership, knowing they have been thoroughly screened and that they have the skills necessary to do the job. I find that the certificate courses offered provide excellent training for new staff, which saves us time and resources. Finally, the countless networking opportunities are another great benefit and they strengthen the connections among nonprofit agencies in the Long Beach area. As Executive Director of our organization, the Partnership is the first place I call when I need guidance, professional expertise, reassurance, or all of the above!

I have gained so much knowledge from just attending three roundtables that I look forward to them every month. I am very thankful the roundtables exist, and I thank you for being such a great host!

Thanks to Nonprofit Partnership’s Fund Development Certificate Program I learned to reach back to a funder who had previously “declined” our application and invited him out to our facility. In the past I would not have thought to reach back to the Program Officer. Because of my class I came to understand that development is an education process and that “declined” is not outright rejection. The program officer visited our site and loved our program, “If only we had been out before you submitted!” The Program Officer is now our champion and is actively looking to see what other funding maybe possible from his foundation. Thank you!

Thanks to the help of the Nonprofit Partnership, our Board now knows their role in fundraising. They have eagerly implemented out Parish Outreach plan and have achieved substantial financial results to support our Catholic Charities programs.

What a luxury to have this great software available free here in Long Beach. We appreciated having the Nonprofit Partnership staff right there to help. We will pass the word along to others about being able to find sources for funding and support, and we hope to use these tools ourselves again and again.
