Grant Program
Commitment to serving the community is the Rotary Club of Long Beach’s greatest accomplishment. The Long Beach Rotary Charitable Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation that supports community efforts to improve the quality of life of our great city through project grants. All applicants must be a 501(c)3 organization. We offer two funding categories:
LITERACY GRANTS
Literacy grants fund local literacy projects run by libraries, childcare centers, nonprofits and other organizations. These grants are funded by Rotarians as part of our Reading by 9 program. Literacy grants range from $500 to $2,500 and are evaluated on creativity, uniqueness and emphasis on preparing students to be ready to read at grade level by age 9.
Please select the appropriate application depending on whether you are a teacher or nonprofit.
