Chief Executive Officer (CEO) (Crittenton)
Crittenton Services is a nationally accredited voice for child welfare, serving Southern California for over 50 years. The agency is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to replace Joyce Capelle, who is retiring after 23 years of service to the $38 million organization. The agency prides itself on balancing stability with innovation, and on creating a culture of equity, multiculturalism, and inclusion for ourselves, our clients and our community.
As a highly visible representative of the agency and thought leader for child welfare, the CEO is responsible for developing and maintaining unassailable relationships with various constituencies in and around the Los Angeles area including children and their families, community leaders, foundations, government, and partner agencies. We understand our agency runs on the hard work and dedication of our 500 passionate and socially conscious employees so the successful candidate will possess a demonstrated background of effective leadership and promoting change. The CEO will have the ability to be challenged, to accept and process different points of view, as well as an understanding that diversity is vital to create organizational resilience and capitalize on a wider range of opportunities. Backed by a strong management team and Board of Directors, with similar values, your salary and benefits package are negotiable, based on your demonstrated experience, your credentials and proven passion for child welfare.
